Cover Reveal: The Black Raiders Series

The day for the cover reveal is finally here! All the Black Raiders books have new covers and I’m in love with them and hope you will be as well. I think they fit the series a lot better than the old ones and they have new blurbs, too, so please let me know what you think of both in the comments below! As you might have seen on our social media we’re launching the Black Raiders series on the 24th of August 2024, so as Europe so eloquently put it: “It’s the final countdown!”

LET'S HAVE A LOOK AT THE NEW PAPERBACK COVERS AND BLURBS!

The Raider series first book: A Detached Raider. Cover showing Cole in a suit front and center with a smoldering smile holding a gun with the skyline of Baltimore in the background.

A DETACHED RAIDER

Working a murder is one thing. It’s Detective Cade Lawson’s job, after all. Getting roped into a team-up with an out-of-town detective who brings out all of his insecurities and makes him want things he can’t have? That’s where Cade draws the line. Or he would, if his captain would just let him. As it is, he’ll have to suck it up and try not to fall for Mr. Tall, dark, and grumpy. Should be easy, right?

The serial killer Detective Cole Banks has been trying to catch for years leads him out of town and straight into the hands of the most annoying man he’s ever met. He’s also instantly attracted to him, which only makes him question his sanity. Cole doesn’t want to want Cade, but the man slowly draws him in as they work together to catch their killer.

Despite a rocky start to their partnership, Cade sees something in Cole that makes him believe a relationship between them is worth the risk. To his heart and his job. He can’t help trying to bust down the wall of steel Cole has wrapped around his heart, but in prying that particular door open, will he just end up sending the man running for the hills?

DECEIVING A RAIDER

Detective Cole Banks never knew life could be this good. He’s got a job he loves, a partner he wants to build a life with, and he’s finally reconnecting with his old Marine squad. They’re still looking for answers to the event that resulted in the death of a Raider and the disappearance of another, but the search for the truth will have to take a back seat when danger comes knocking.

Revenge was never Detective Cade Lawson’s cup of tea, but someone from his past has waited a decade to get even. That someone should be rotting in a black site CIA prison, but now he’s back, and he wants to ruin the life Cade has fought so hard to build. The lies and deceit are quickly catching up with him and the only thing he can do is hope that it won’t tarnish the future he so desperately wants with Cole.

When Cade risks everything to keep the people he loves safe, Cole and the Raiders find themselves in an uneasy alliance with someone they aren’t sure they can trust as they race against time to rescue Cade.

A GUARDED RAIDER

Detective Cade Lawson fought hard to keep his past separate from his future, but in doing so he nearly lost the one man he can no longer live without. Introducing Cole to his family and showing him where he came from is both exciting and terrifying. It’s one thing for Cole to know who Cade used to be. Having him see it up close and personal like he will around Cade’s eccentric family is a whole other.

Cade’s shady past only rivals Detective Cole Banks’ own. They may have been on opposite sides of the law back then, but they’re very much on the same side now. Cade burst into his life like the magnetic force that he is and despite all the bullshit, Cole has never been happier. He’s willing to go to any lengths to protect Cade―even if it means stealing from a very dangerous man.

In trying to right the wrongs of his past, Cade needs to step back into a role he thought he’d left behind for good, and with how high the stakes are, he might lose everything to keep his loved ones safe.

DISARMING A RAIDER

What’s supposed to be a week off for Special Agent Axel Bates turns into a dangerous and explosive time. His best friend asks him to protect his twin brother who he never knew existed―Maze Romero: A powerful and dangerous mobster. Saving Maze turns into much more than a simple rescue mission because there’s nothing in the FBI rulebook about living with a mobster and certainly nothing about falling in love with one.

Someone wanting Maze Romero dead isn’t a surprise. Hell, it’s just a typical Monday for him. He took over the family business to protect his brother, but when he ends up in more danger than he expected, the man his brother sends to protect him knocks him off course. Axel and the way he makes him feel is the last thing he needs. Especially with everyone gunning for him.

Maze pushes all of Axel’s buttons and being stuck in close quarters leads to unexpected things. Maze is a dangerous man to want and yet Axel can’t stay away. He can’t stop wanting what he can’t have. Will the fling that’s only supposed to be temporary get in the way as they try to stop the people who want Maze dead or will it be what saves them?

A returned raider

When a young woman is found murdered in Patterson Park, Detective Cole Banks is shocked to recognize her as an old friend from high school. Getting a phone call from a concerned sheriff’s deputy dealing with two murders that may be connected sends Cole and his partner heading toward his hometown. Despite the emotional strain of returning to a place he thought he’d left behind for good, Cole is determined to solve the case and bring the killer to justice.

Confronting the past may come at a high price. Detective Cade Lawson knows that from experience, and as they dive into Cole’s history, he worries about the impact it will have on his partner. The town is filled with memories and ghosts from Cole’s past, and Cade refuses to let him face them alone. He’ll be with Cole every step of the way, whether he wants it or not.

A sixteen-year-old case seems to be the driving force behind the killings and as Cade and Cole dig deeper, they find themselves up against those who want the truth to stay hidden. With someone working against them, can they stop the killer before he strikes again?

Avenging a raider

Eleven years ago, Lieutenant William Stanton’s entire world imploded. He lost his brother and the family he created with his Marine squad. He left his old life behind to hunt down the people responsible for his brother’s death. Avenging his brother is all he’s thought about, all he’s been working toward, for over a decade. A sexy little assassin shouldn’t be able to distract him from that goal, but Colt makes him want things he’s been without for years.

Going rogue from the CIA is a gamble, but Colt ‘Shadow’ Castillo knows his worth. He’s not surprised when his handler sends someone to bring him back in, but the man that shows up is not who he expects. The missing lieutenant of the Black Raiders lives up to the stories Colt has been told, but there’s a darkness in the man only someone like himself can recognize. Something that draws him in and leaves him wanting more.

Colt has people to save, and Will has a murder to avenge, but can they handle that along with what may be a chance at happiness when reality and all the dangers that comes with it crashes down around them?
