My name is Ana
I’m the author of several suspenseful gay romance novels. I like to write romantic stories, but they are usually coupled with suspense, mystery, or fantasy.
I work as a bookkeeper whenever I need money to feed my book addiction–which is quite often. Though, in my defense, it is said that the best writer is the one that reads a lot.
When I’m not writing, you can find me with my nose buried in a book, singing and dancing, watching my favorite TV shows, or creating book covers.
I live in Denmark where I spend a lot of time running from my ninja kitty—that little bugger goes for the ankles—and getting lost in the woods with my horse.
Fun Facts
What did you do before you became a writer?
Kindergarten? Elementary school? I’ve written for as long as I’ve been able to spell, I guess. I always loved reading, so I just assume that one day reading morphed into wanting to write my own stories.
Favorite TV show(s)?
Oh gosh. There are sooo many to choose from. Here’s a list of my all-time favorites: Supernatural, NCIS: LA, Lucifer, Agent Carter, Agents of SHIELD, BBC Sherlock, White Collar, Designated Survivor, The Seeker, Shadowhunters, Teen Wolf, The Musketeers, Nikita… The list goes on and on, so I’ll just leave it at that.
What sort of music do you listen to
Disney. Okay, so not just Disney. But I love it. How can you not? This, I probably shouldn’t be telling you, but I pretty much know all Disney songs by heart. Besides that, my tastes vary a great deal. I’ll listen to anything from Taylor Swift to 5SOS to Fall Out Boy. Oh and 80’s and 90’s music too. Because I need a little bit of Monica in my life.
What do you do in your spare time?
Well, I’ve got a horsey, so I—more or less—don’t have any spare time. The time that I do have is filled with books, music, singing, dancing like no one’s watching, and all those TV shows, of course.
Favorite ice cream flavor?
Hazelnut. Definitely hazelnut. But you can never go wrong with Snickers or Magnum either. I know those aren’t flavors but it’s ice cream! Who cares?
Favorite hot drink?
The only thing I can drink hot is chocolate. I’m more of a milkshake kinda girl. But that may just be because I want to bring them boys and girls to my yard—if ya know what I mean *wink wink*
Favorite superhero?
Black Widow and White Canary. They’re awesome, human, flawed, and they’re lethal. They’re women who can kick your ass, which is the main reason I love them. White Canary also has a special place in my heart because she’s not only bi, but she’s a leader, too. She’s incredibly strong and there is nothing she wouldn’t do for her team and because of that, there’s nothing her team wouldn’t do for her.
What books do you read?
I read a lot of different genres/books. But one thing I need in the books I read, is some sort of action/suspense/adventure. Oh and some loving.
